Any got a number for Aquagest where (a) they answer the phone & (b) They speak English. Like many others Ive had a backdated bill from 2007 and they are threatening to cut me off, Hmm why did I set up that direct debit? Even thought the bill is from Hacienda they say I have to go to Banesto Bank but as Im in the UK presently thats kinda hard. Ideally Id like to pay by credit card and thats that. Any suggestions. Must say Im impessed by the building activity thats sprung up. Anyone know if the 2nd golf course is likely to go ahead

Have you got Marga's Email or tel no ?

Hi all,
Me again, we along with 950 other live in a property at Mazarron Country Club and have had problems with water supply because of the developer... Aqualia were the suppliers until our administrator introduced Aguagest and bam the cost increases 50% which includes a minimum consumption charge of 15 M3 per 2 months and a €12 charge for Admin ie creating the bill...can anyone explain thesituation here at HDA please.
Many thanks
Barry

in reply to the earlier question.by ricky. I have direct debits set up but the money they want wasnt taken for whatever reason., certainly not lack of money in the account.cant get a reply from anywhere at HDA. If they cut my water off ill have to take a bar of soap to the community pool! What I dont get is the bill has Haciendas logo on the top but when I origionally asked at the office they couldnt take the payment. Why then has it got their logo on it?

Hi ,
I emailed Marga this afternoon but just had it returned by mailer demon.Cant get through by phone HDA must have changed numbers.Noticed that the last Aqua money was taken from my bank account in Febuary.
It seems that they can charge us what they like because we haven't any choice.

Hi Ricky,
Thanks for trying, Aquagest here on MCC are charging a minimum15M3 per 2 months( 70% of owners not resident) and all the charges for sewage treatment etc plus €12 per factura for admin charge.
They tell us that it is because we are a private urbanisation but so are you.
Bi-Monthly minimum charge €41.64... previous supplier Aqualia was €27.42 but our Administrator led us down the Aquagest path,,, who is your administrator and how much are your community fees?
The expat difficulty is having contact for comparison, they spin us a yarn and we have no way of prooving or otherwise not being fluent in the language
Regards
Barry

Hi Barry,
Have just obtained another email adress for Marga who I think must be in charge mdiaz@salaestrella.com but the situation is I don't really know if this is correct as you can't seem to contact anyone since the beginning of the year.I have asked her to email me back as soon as poss. Our community fees for our 2bed 2bath villa last year was 1900 eur plus another 550 to Fuente council plus the water and elactricity. I don't know how this comperes with yours.

Hi Ricky
Our CoO fees are €540 per year plus around € 140 IBI to Mazarron Council when they get their act together,,,, sounds rather cheap compared but we don't have the security you have and certainly not the green areas or golf course and our plots are generally smaller... my 2 bed 2 bath Villa of 65 M2 sits on a plot of 320 M2
Our CoO costs are for Garden maintenance , mainly the Paseo which is beautiful, Rubbish collection, Security of sorts, Street lighting, Waste water depuradation , treatment and conversion to grey water for the golf course we don't have yet,, Road manitenance for those that are finished , insurance and other miscellaneous stuff
Water now supplied by AguaGest, eclectricity supplied by Iberdrola or generator depending on where you live on MCC gas supplied by Repsol from large tanks.
We are not too badly off but really want to get to the bottom of the water supply situation and what the charges really should be as they are nationally prescribed with local ammendments.
Thanks again for your efforts to help and we should keep in touch for our mutual benefit... perhaps we can bring a MCC golf team to challenge the might of HDA golfers....
Regards
Barry

Sounds like a good idea to get the golfers up here.We do have bowlers for Mazarron that come up every week, and the golf course is the longest in Spain. We are now boasting a kiosk in our Spanish village which is open for drinks ect. That Spanish village should be seen it's amazing.
Keep in touch
