1st shot struck at C d A ??

Hi All,

After looking down on the 10th Tee Box from my balcony for the last 16 days, and the fairway beyong the lake, temptation finally got the better of me last Wed evening.  I could not resist driving from the 10th Tee box across the lake.  Son Tom took the picture from our balcony (posted), which I believe could be the first shot struck in anger on Condado!!..........Ball went long & straight nestling in the middle of the fairway (my be a bit of poetic licence in the last bit).

Course progressing at a fantastic rate, & I am now much more optimistic it will open end of Nov / early Dec.  Work is now focussing on bunkers.  Fairways lushing up nicely.  12th & 13th fairways (Temp 18th & 1st) are the ones that are significantly behind the others - which still could be a problem, with the temp numbering.

Atchaly dad,i filmed it i wasnt the photographer  it was Billy,haha,Dad declare yourself  lucky that i found your snapped tee on the box,whilst looking for your ball that you leathered down the 10th fairway.

Sounds like the course is really coming on.We are completing soon on La Isla and our view is to be the second course.We were told when we were last out that they would start this when the first course is finished so i was wondering if you heard anything when you were out.  Regards Pat & Jackie

Nick it was "truly" a great drive!!!

The course is absolutely amazing and will be such a test. It will be better than anything Spains has currently on offer. Just hope they get the pricing right.
