Hi all phase 3a/b owners,
We have been out to look at a 3 bed penthouse on 3a which Roda have available. Does the proximity to the clubhouse bother you at all, do you sneak through the golf course? are there any plans to create a path along the left side of the boundary for use by residents? Anything we should be aware of when considering our offer?
Does anyone have their property managed by Roda, if so how is this going? do you have the furniture package they provide? can you send me any pictures or links so I can have a peak?
Thanks

afternoon,
we're on phase 3, block 78 and we walk through the golf course in the evening. We wouldn't want to leave phase 3 as it is nice and quiet with no traffic and it seems a lot less crowded with apartments than certainly phase 1.
The pathway to the club house for phase 3 owners is a sore subject at the moment as most of us were told that there would be a walkway of some sort provided even before we paid the deposit a few years ago.
i would definately recommend buying on phase 3.

After using the lovely little shop on site we were prevented taking a short cut to phase 3 along the buggy track by a security guard but this was 2pm in the afternoon. We had not hired a car as the cost was prohibitive and used taxis for the most part. However we needed some shopping from the shop. Going was fine (were not caught) and quite safe (although we would not have been insured).
This definitely needs reviewing by Calidona as it is very unfair. We had to walk right round the resort to get back to phase 3 and I burned quite badly on the bottom of my legs walking round. .
Someone was stopped at night taking the short cut over the buggy path. That is definitely out of order and totally unreasonable of Roda Securicor as no one can play golf in the dark. Great fun dodging the water sprinklers at night though.

I have been to Roda this week. Please note - the buggy path between phases 3a and 3b that leads to the Clubhouse had been roped off with a no entry signs. As I already had a car I did not attempt to walk to the Clubhouse in the evening.

have been in our phase 3b apt for the past week for our kids mid-term. Place looks in great condition. Its a little quiet, but weather is gr8. We walk the golf course all the time and ive never been stopped.
Some of you will have seen my 'campaign' to do something about this.Add a few facilities and this place would heaven(but lets not start that one again!) Personally, I think you need transport on roda of some kind, no matter what phase your on.
In Dublin we have a system with bike 'depots' where you hire a bike and return to designated depots. Im thinking a similar system with Golf buggies where you can drive them around Roda and pay a small fee for each journey!
Here's hoping!!

Good idea! We went on a holiday a few years ago to a big golf complex in Turkey and each place came with your own golf buggy for the week. The idea was that you used the buggy to get around the resort and in the evening. Not on the golf course but on the internal roads. Obviously they do not go that fast and presumably you cannot get done for drink/driving? Does not do much for your hair though when you are going out and I did nearly fall off the back one night! Roda could make a bit of money on the hire. Might not be as silly as it sounds.
