I think you are rather "undermining our resident supremo's "dogged efforts" to build a united, cohesive community" (quotes intended)  by your blatant encouragement to spar ! Tut, tut.

Don't expect too many other posts on this thread.

Hi Jenx, I just think that any major arguments/differences of opinion or anything that gets on a personal level should be kept to this thread, PMs or by email. My colours are neutral and I do not like taking sides with anyone. My view is always to try to support the elected committee, but this will not necessarily  stop me questioning some of their ideas or decisions etc... I also  try not to let any differences of opinion re DJ community business (and there have been a fair few) upset any personal relationships that I have with people at Don Juan.

 The problem is that people are confusing and mixing differences of opinion with online fights. When I post I always try to think about the person I'm addressing and try to make sure that I could and would be comfortable saying exactly the same in person. If I fail in my attempt to keep that policy its sometimes my English which fails me and on some other occasions a culture difference. We Dutch are quite direct but not easily offended.

I do my best to avoid personal clashes as the only thing I'm interested in is a strong united community. I know around 90 percent of the people here so I don't want to ruin my life by being aggresive against any of them. I mantain very good relations with as good as all of them and like to keep it that way. 

I sometimes disagree with good friends of mine in this community about DJ issues, but then we drink a beer and have a good laugh.

Max I am not going to continue along this line of 'online spat' If you truly believe what you have just posted then good luck to you as you clearly have not heard some of the comments and remarks from many owners.

I sincerely hope that our community is not run, and will not be run,  for the convenience and benefit of one owner's business. Renters, friends and relatives are the responsibility of the owners and are not subject to any special privileges.
