As I understand it Peinsa were fined for building without a license on another development next door to Roda Golf. 

Good to see people able to claim their money back.  Were their aprtments actually completed?

Did anyone actually complete?  What happens to those that may have done when the developer goes under?

This development was actually near Sucina, opposite United Golf Resort, but yes the resort of Senora De Rida, opposite RODA was built by the same company

No properties were completed and the site now still has the show houses, cranes and part completed properties, and the gates are locked and was mainly villas and Town Houses

There was a mixtire of buyers, some with valid BG´s, some with expired BG´s and some with no BG´s and initially the banks refused to payout but this is now being resolved as far as the current and expired BG´s are concerned

Those with no BG´s are having to go to Court and fortunatley Peinsa are still trading and initially tried to get buyers to switch to other developments

Those who have been paid have got their deposits back plus costs and interest but are still fighting for the initial €3k payments

I know that this is a differnt situation to Corvera but my post was to answer the original query on Maria
