Bit of good news thread

Thought I'd start a thread just for the good news bits. Somewhere we can fall back to when we need a break from the dark side so DarthVader and friends please respect.

Here´s some good new will be puting some new course photographs up later today as it is looking much greener

I have been following the corvera golf info website, they are doing a fantastic job of keeping people informed of whats going on there, great photos, I hope that they keep it up, very imformative.

What I have done, because I have so many photographs, is created a Corvera photo gallery on The inspectahomespain website, details in ,my signature and just click the top link

I have tried to include a mix of areas and types of properties but my offer still stands for people, that want specific properties or areas added, just drop me an e-mail 

I will cover the sports facilities, driving range and some more course photographs next week

Certainly most of the poolsofpahses 1 & 2 are cleaned and in use

Also some more internal pics as people start to furnish

What I will do, because I am onsite so much snagging properties, is update these once a week and over the next few days add labels which explian where each area is by block numbers

I will soon be doing the same for 3 Molinos and Mar Menor 2 as they start completions

I hope that this helps to gove people a better understanding of the site

Just been onto Roy's site to look at the photographs.  They give a really good insight into the different properties and the internal areas rather than just focussing on the golf course.  It really is looking great.  Thanks very much Roy :)

Hi Roy,  thanks for the photos. always great to see how things are moving along. The link info. sounds great for the area. I wasn't that pleased to read with proporty current valuations ranging from 20 to 60 per centa discount. But we will have to live with that as I can't see Covera giving any discount at this stage.

As I mentioned before I am not a golfer, don´t have time to play, but even I have noticed how green the course is looking,especially the greens, so yesterday while inspecting a property with an Irish gentleman who was a very good golfer, I spent some time looking around the course with him

He was not a forum member and was fairly unsure till he visited the site yesterday if he was going to complete but now he is

He had bought specifically for the golf, had played most of the local courses was quite excited with the conditionof the course but more importantly his comments were the the greens were some of the best that he had ever seen

He also commented that the fairways have some way to go howvever we have a lot of rain forecasted over the next week and we counted more than 50 greens staff and gardeners still working on the course

The shop has the AC fitted and they are now working on the front drive, entrance and gardens

I will add the new photographs on Friday

As promised I have I have just updated;the Inspectahomespain website with another 70 photographs taken today including shots of the range, putting green, various villa nearing completion and the Menta apartments, the sports facilties and the premises for the shop, no dates yet for openning and they are tarmacing the car park

Still no pools and gardens behind the Menta apartments yet still being built but lots of workmen on them lus the clubhouse

Sorry but they are not staged or very professional but I think that they give you a good idea on the development, probably better than the glossy estate agents versions

Over the last few days we have had a lot of rain so you can see from the photographs how fast the grass is growing now  and the condition of the greens

Hi Roy, WOW, great photos sorry to hear you have had rain.. but delighted to hear the rain has worked wonders on the course. Can you please advise..the pools that you have taken I cant see any space to relax. I would have thought they would have a area to drop a towel and crash out in the sun around the pool.  Is all the wooden fencing a permanent fixture? Any idea when the Menta apartment pools will be completed?

Rain is good, we haven´t had any for 7 months, it clears the air and is the snaggers friend as it exposes defects

Pools, there are green areas outside the fences and it is up to the communities, when they are created, to decide if they want them as a pemanent fixture however, with your children around, I believe that they are a necessary safety measure

I cannot really advise on the completion dates for the gradens etc on The Mentas only tell they that there are lots of builders working away

Looks like they're going to build the Phase-3 North end before they start on phase-3 West beside the roundabout then? Have still to hear confirmation about final planning for the 'Peanut' apartments.

Just returned from the resort after completing.....

GREEEEEEEN it is but I dare say golf course will not be (FULLY) ready until next year ( a bit of maturity is reqd.)

However, if it does open by the end of this year, as planned - fairwats are going to be a bit rough but GREENS are fully matured ( stepped on them, putted on them - probably about 8 on the stimpmeter........ not cut to perfection yet...)

Range is fully open and tokens are available FREE  from the office.

Also, as long as you have completed, you can play at RODA for free until Corvera course opens.

I asked Carmen the same question. Apparently, it's a "protected" (we call it listed) part of land !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably a well.
