water meters

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please tell me where I would find our water meter? Not sure if it has been removed or there is a problem with the water supply. We are in a ground floor apt on Jardine 7.

They are to the rear of apartments in the middle box below the elec meters.

Inside you will find four 'analogue' style meters, two down and two upstairs.  Somewhere there will be a hand written number. which corresponds to your apartment.

Many water meters have been removed due to non payment of installation charge 196€ if this happens you have to go in person to Urbaser in Alhama and pay 196€ plus a further 50€ for reconnection if you pay in morning they will re-connect in afternoon.

A friend of ours was disconnected due to another owner not paying the pipes are crossed I am aware of two examples of this.

In some cases you cant check for the meter as the box is locked.

By the way yesterday 28th we had very low water pressure when this happens some upper apartments loose their water.

Thanks to all who replied I am glad to report that our meter is still in place, as you rightly stated there was a problem with the water yesterday but it is now back on.
