Has anyone on  here "bought" their property through Arriba Homes  - we have had an offer (one word for it) via our solicitors and wondered if anyone else has?

It is nothing to get excited about - we have been offered 29% of our deposit  back in euros which our Spanish lawyers say because of exchange rate it is more like 35% (?) but it doesn't look likely that we will get much else back, but I suppose this is better than nothing - plus we have to pay lawyers another 300 euros if we say yes.  We entered into an agreement where we paid a 15% deposit so I guess we haven't lost as much as some people

I am so sick of the whole thing I wish I had never heard of Jumilla - I used to regularly read the posts on this forum but to be honest I got so confused about what was going on as there seemed to be lots of bickering between certain people that I gave up but I thought it might be interesting to know if anyone else had purchased through Arriba Homes and if they had had an offer

What is your position?

Hi bibbie .I understand that by law any agreement with creditors must be  a maximum reduction on credits of 50% and a maximum delay in payment of 5 years .I would check this out before accepting any agreement .Cheers MM

Hi Bibbie,

I agree with MM and wonder why they are making such an offer to you, when HdT are about to make an offer to creditors?

If I was you I would wait & see what is in the HdT proposed settlement agreement .

Wishing you all the best

Tony
