Golfers Meet Up

HI all,

Now that our course is open, how about seeing if we can organise some golf in an effort to meet up with like minded people ?

I am over from 19th Jan for 10 weeks and if we can organise a meet up in a corner of Clover sometime we may be able to get some games organised. I was thinking that if we organised a meet up on a given night each week it would be possible for the gatherings to continue regardless of who was there at any particular time.

I appreciate that people may only wish to play with thier partners or friends, but there may be individuals who are looking for playing partners and in particular, Lady golfers who may feel intimidated playing golf with men etc. etc.

Who Knows, it might work !!

We are over on the 11th for 17 weeks and it would be great if we could organize a few outings in Condado. If anybody is interested we have entered a competition in Roda. A fourball better ball for €25 euro each. Its being run by Dave Vincent. The email address is: golf@spectrumradio.es. Anybody interested just send him an email and see what happens. Also PW are running a competition over all their courses starting on the 16th Jan. in Hac. Riquilme. Again I think its worth checking out. Hope to see you all in The Clover or the course shortly.  Hi we are over on 1st February for a week.  I don't play golf but my partner does so this is a great idea.

All sounds like a great idea.  I'll be out for a few weeks around easter with the family and would be trying to get a couple of rounds in.  Would otherwise be playing solo so would be nice to know a few golfers in similar positions.  Don't have a current handicap but have joined a club and expect to get one anyday soon (probably around 18 based on the rounds I've had).

Have to say after seeing the card the course looks a bit daunting lengthwise.

We are out 5 to 15 February and again 10 to 19 March, only I (Phil) play golf though, although some would dispute that.  

Excellent idea having a regular meet up night for golfers in Clover Bar. Look forward to hearing which night and time is chosen (during happy hour I hope).

well done, great idea, you cant beat a bar to bump into fellow golfers, last time i was out there i met 2 irish boys and dave from manchester, we had a couple of great games and good craic to boot,

keep us informed of the meet up day, wont be there for a while, so hope all goes well,
