Thanks Dave for getting this moving, I won’t be able to attend for a Wednesday meeting in the Clover until 10 Feb but hopefully by then it will be going strong. May I suggest someone in residence asking the golf shop if we could have a notice up in the shop promoting the Wednesday Clover Meeting, I am sure it would be in there interest as well as ours.

I have asked PW if anyone from their Golf Management would like to come and speak at the first meeting but had no response yet.

Condado De Alhama services (Jill & Terry) are placing info on web site and also promoting meeting on Thurs Podcast.

The sign in the shop is a good idea if anyone can organise pleae.

I will go into the shop tomorow and speak to them.

The only problem i have is that i dont have a printer to make the poster.

I will have a word i the office.

can anyone advise what the "phone up and book" price is for owners on CDA?? also. early notice I appreciate, but if anyone is out/avaiable the 24th, 25th and 26th of feb and fancies a game, get in touch.

The price at the moment is e90 for two with a buggie.

It's e30 twilite rate,but i'm not shure what time that starts.

I can let you know later.

As for a game in feb.i'm allways up for a knok,just let me know nearer the time.

Grrrrrrreat thread.  Will be out Easter unless I can get a cheap flight before then.  I'm sure someone will be available for a game.  I unfortunately will have difficulty with Wednesday meetings, as on my short hops there I arrive late Wednesday.  Would not matter what day the meeting was, someone will always miss out on the meeting itself.  But hey, thats what this forum is for.... keeping each other in touch and informed.

Twilight is after 2pm.

Now that lady (Nubliss?) who's photograph was on here a few weeks ago.... is she still sure she does not wish to play around with me.  Sorry a round

I will also be at next Wed's meeting and keen to follow it with a round the next morning, if anyone's interested. 

golf charges are as follows

65 euros non resident   55 euros resident with out polaris card 52 euros with card   twilight is from 2 pm and is 30 euros.it doesnt get dark till 6.30 so with no one on course at the moment(max 3 bookings per day) plenty of time to get a full round.

also residents can play at the moment  for 90 euros a couple incl buggy

if you have guests i can let them play all year at 56 euros and book the times for them .+447903665750 and also at hacienda del alamo for 41 euros at the moment

anyone out between Feb14 - 19 and fancies a game give me a PM -

I went into the pro shop yesterday,and they told me that i can't put a notice up in the window.

She says they are going to put up a noitice board "some time".

I'm can't think when that will be.

I allso asked in the bar,but got the normal blank look.

I will see if the boss is in there tonight,he is the only one who speaks english.

I will try to get a poster made up any way.

What will be the best contact details to put on it?

I think keeping it simple and just letting people know Time, Place and Date will do. Any contact detail exchanges can be done on the night.

Meeting at 1900 every Wednesday to arrange golf and 1st society at 1400 on Friday 29th.

Hope all went well with the meet. Was over last week but hope to be back in a few weeks so will be looking forward to catching up with some fellow golfers. Course is taking shape and the greens are really good.

Course fantastic, greens very tough.

Today's event was cancelled due to the terrible weather, but I am pleased to advise that the revised date is already in place, this falls into some schools half term week, so if you are over and want to play, let me know ASAP
