A date is now set for the meeting taking place March in the Midlands, UK. of Roda owners considering, and also in the process of, taking legal action against Calidona It is being attended by owners who have, or have not, completed. We have enough owners attending the meeting to secure the attendance of a prominent Spanish solicitor and quite possibly a litigator to answer our questions.
I have received contact from Corvera owners wishing to attend the meeting. Owners from both developements are in similar situations and we going to take advantage of having legal experts present offering their services and answering many the questions we may pose such as procedures in law, costs, timetables etc and guide us in the right direction, either as group or as individuals. By the same token, the legal people attending are coming to the UK and offering their expertise to all attendees but hopefully gaining business following the meeting. Either way it is a win/win situation for owners.
Therefore this an open invitation for any Corvera owners either already in the process of, or contemplating, taking legal action against Calidona either as a group or as individuals to send a PM me if you wish to attend. This will in no way undermine any groups who are already formed on Corvera.
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the members of the Corvera Legal Action Group for their support and looking forward to meeting those who are already coming in March and any new owners wishing to attend.
Baron

Hi
Could you advise whether anyone can go to the meeting or do they have to formally join the Legal Action and if so how do you go about joining.
I understand the concern as to confidentiality but any general response to find out who to talk to would be useful.
Thanks
Paul

Not exactly the brightest of ideas giving the general location of the meeting was it?!?!?!
I have replied to your PM, with a PM, twice now.
Once was on 28/1/10 at 21.50 and the second time was on 12/2/10 at 23.14.
I have also replied to your personal e-mail address that you gave me. I have just sent a second e-mail to you.

To be honest guys
I'm sure Calidona already know when and where the meeting is (They are thick skinned, not thick!)
If you really wanted to put the frighteners on them to negotiate it would've been a good idea to invite a representative from Calidona to at least hear ALL the gripes (obviously he/she would have to leave before you started to discuss legal actions against.)
In the end all they will do is declare insolvency and the legal charges paid so far will be wasted, as those of us who have not completed wil have to start again to get our guarantees honoured by the banks.
Anybody got any idea how long this usually takes after a company has been declared insolvent?

Sorry
Unfortunately due to the overwelming response from Corvera owners we are having to temporartily suspend applications from Corvera owners wishing to attend the midlands meeting.
I understand your reasons for wanting to attend, and in the light of very recent events I sympathise but unbfortunately due to the sheer volume of applicants, the administration of Corvera applicants alone has just about clogged up the admin. side and we are making very little progress with the rest of the planning of the meeting.
Please be aware that we are still fully intending to support ALL owners but need to clear the water for the time being.
I will post further details asap.
