I think the moral of this story is to make sure that you complete / or buy a property in Spain when all of the promised facilities have been delivered.
Some may argue that this might in itself bankrupt the developer however in most instances it is the communities and not the developer that have the long-term financial responsiblility for managing and maintaining the resorts.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but you also have to question region planniing in allowing such large scale-development to take place. Still I suppose everything was rosy when pockets were being lined. Next year will be an even tougher year for the Spanish construction industry as the bubble finally bursts for real.
