There is some confusion regarding wiring the lights in Mentas so for clarification please note the following
The first advice to note is that the end wires in all rooms are exposed so before you switch on the power check that note on the live and neutral ends are touching, which is quite common, but make sure that the power is switched off at the fuse box first before you touch these
We have asked that these should at least be taped but they are still exposed and live with the power switched on
The first light in the entrance hall is not switched but requires that a sensor to be fitted to the additional wiring, normally located by the AC wiring or right on the stairs in duplex properties. The sensor is not provided by Calidona and this can be modified by installing a switch
In the bathrooms, and kitchen there is normally only 1 set of wires for lights but they are either dropped ceilings or tiles so it is easy to add additional downlighters and transormers
In the lounge and bedrooms some switched sockets are provided for floor standing lights with wall mounted light switches
With the exception of the storage cupboard all external wall lights are fitted and the swicth outside the door with an external cover flap fitted is a door bell push
There are control switches on the stairs but they all have external cover flaps
