Handicaps and booking golf

Hi All

Can anyone out there tell me if golfers need a handicap cert to play the PW courses, also will we be ok to turn up and play or do we need to book in advance. We're not bothered what time we play as long as we can get a couple of games in over a four day period in the 1st week in March.One more question , are golf clubs definately available to hire at Condado.

  It may also be useful to know that the first tee time is 8am but the shop opens at 8am so my husband went for a slightly later time to give time to pay and collect the buggy.

We were heading to CdA for a short break and my husband wanted to get in a couple of rounds of golf in that time. After reading that the course is becoming very popular and rather than turn up and be disappointed my husband decided to book ahead. They were very efficient with the booking and replied quickly.

He had his handicap card but wasnt asked for it during this visit.

I am just back from a week at Condado and dont know if its of any relevance but the course last week was dead quiet in the morning but very busy in the afternoons ?

I dont know whether there is a cheaper PM rate maybe ?

it was good to finally see golfers in front of us on the 12th green  - after several years of dust and dissapointment - you can now also buy CDA branded knitwear in the pro shop !!

Spotted your question on golf club hire. When a friend and i were out at new year there was a guy there starting a club hire business. Not sure when but he can be contacted at condadogolfclubhire@googlemail.com maybe he can sort out your club hire for you.

Clubs are in CDA pro shop for hire!!! Don't forget to book clubs when you book your tee time.
