Condado - the signature course.

i tried to explain course openings, resort openings, and nicklaus design in october when i found out jack wasnt visiting condado as all had hoped for the grand opening, i also got an email from one of his admin staff and they explained the best they could? www.puntamita.com may help, it would take me ages to type it again,

then if your still not with it, and how it works and whether the course will be up to scratch, (you men must be useless in bed and very impatient, i feel sorry for your wives), try the nicklaus design site and look up the facts of another signature course (took 5 year to totally complete) and what he was actually doing to the course when it was OPEN, but wasnt officially open, get my drift,

sorry to say it again but be patient it will come and it will be a truly great nicklaus course (apart from the shrubs and dead trees) which by the way, was a mistake made in the design and the choice of shrub used, if you havnt noticed not a lot grows out there so its a case of trial and error, this even happened in dubai believe it or not, you should have seen the state of that three year ago when even tiger complained about the different types of grass on different fairways, now its all sorted, be happy IT WONT BE LONG

Take some of your points on board regarding giving things time, having patience, and comparing like with like (the development in Morocco is the one I based my comparison on). I would have to contest though 'not a lot grows out there'. Murcia is the garden of Europe so they tell us. La Torre & El Valle seem to have plants very much of the same type planted at Condado that have taken and flourished in the short time they have been in operation. That is because the have been planted correctly in the first place and then given some loving care & attention until they become established. I just don't know where you are seeing the signs that this is happening or is about to happen at Condado under the present regime.

Less of a doubter and more of a disappointed realist in this case. I have witnessed very little or no progress at all in the last 12 months in regard to improvements in this area. Now if you have made a design mistake, how long do you wait to put it right ? Surely not as long as RPM took to respond to anybody's grievences ?

im playing for the first time at easter so i'm just looking forward to it,

i have also emailed the design admin and raised questions about a couple of the points made, await with baited breath and i will also pass it on. hope they respond quicker than RPM.

havnt been on for a while so missed out on a bit of this thread, but i think the rumor about jack not wanting to be involved is *********

surely he would want his signature course next to a paramount theme park or even right in the middle of it, that would sort out the tree and shrub problem
