Dave is right. You are destroying the credibility of this forum with your transparent tactics and your blatant and repeated self promotion. Just pay for a banner ad and leave the forum to those who have put money into Corvera which you have not and never would by your own admission.

Jim I do not answer to individual members and, while people continue to tell me that my postings are of value to the community, I will continue to post, and if of course the moderators find my postings commercial or insulting they can of course remove them as clearly with the comments made by Johnmac

Please stop putting you own spin on my comments as I stated I would not buy a peoperty on ANY golf resort currently, I already own one that has lost money

I have already reported your comments to the moderator and I hope he will take the appropriate action. If he doesn't then the floodgates are open to everyone to add lengthy and repeated comments about their business or service after the obligatory reference to issues at this or any other site. I do not look forward to this. One person abusing the forum (i.e. you) is bad enough.

As a Corvera phase 3 purchaser in a unsure postion but trying to be positive as the aternatives are not looking favourable, why does the forum seem like the house of commons, I would have thought all sensible comments are worthy and up to the individual to make a choice, if we have owners who are genuine and are happy in there apartment and can recommend for other services, like furniture packs or air con units etc then I would like to know and check it out, so what's the problem here !.

As a first time purchaser I want options and not go down the normal path, so in my eyes please educate me with that, this is what I would hope for from a forum.

KJ there are loads of different recomendations on here for good service providers for everything you need and you just have to go and look at earlier threads

The problem is people that choose to resort to personal attacks and insults which are not as welcome and have been happening too much

Some previous posters who used to post regularly just don´t bother now because they get attacked which is no way to operate a forum

The problem arises when people like Roy who are neither investors nor prospective investors in the development continually post and recommend themselves.

Hi all,

I know for a fact that I am one of MANY people who has benefitted from Roy's advice both on this website and out there in the 'real world'.

If someone asks a question or seeks advice on the website, and Roy has the answer through his local experience and knowledge, then doesn't it make sense for him to provide same? I would also point out that I have NEVER seen Roy directly tout for business through his posts, save for his signature which merely identifies who he is (and if he did not clearly identify himself on his posts then it could also be seen as improper if you took that point of view?)

Also, for the record, I am one of those who is starting to think twice about posting on this website due to the unduly hostile responses to my posts and those of others. I know there are people who are very angry at the way the property market has gone, and the fact that Corvera is not yet to the finish that they expected or were promised, but taking it out on contributors to this site will not solve anything.

I am afriad that it is a very common practice to just setup a new account, with another name,  and then post whatever you want and for this reason I would suggest that it is your credability, lampositive, that is in question

I work on multiple sites throughout Spain with more than one business and this is a  excellent site so why wouldn´t I advertise my services as I always have admitted, I am in business and I advertise on various sites and publications

Ian thank you for the comments what I would really like to post here are contents from some mails that I have received from the old regular posters about the response they get from some people on this forum

Its a shame that according to you Roy that there appears to be so many sensitive souls out there that no longer want to contribute because they are scared of a backlash.

I have been on here for a couple of years and i dont recall seeing any aggressive posts that could be called intimidating in any way,shape or form. As stated earlier this is a contentious issue with massively differing opnions because a lot of people have either taken the plunge and completed and therefore  put their trust in Calidona and others like myself have paid a deposit and am not prepared to give them any more of my hard earned cash because they havent kept their side of the bargain. Polar opposite positions? probably and that is why there are so many opinions.

i respect the choices that everyone has made and also reserve my right to profer my opinions on this site as i have a declared vested interest. I certainly wouldnt say that the completors that post on here are shrinking violets and a cursory look through the threads will prove that both sides state their cases and reasons in a fair if robust manner. What i do find a tad offensive is when someone who is making a living from people completing their purchases (and has stated that he would never buy one of them himself) starts to try and stir up emotions and get a reaction by making posts that he knows are going to wind people up. What is the point in that? especially given that you do actually provide usefull information a lot of the time ,why bother getting involved in offering your "legal opinion" or making comments about peoples prior legal representation etc etc..

All you are doing is polarising the forum even more and creating resentment. So how about putting a bit more thought and consideration into the content of these posts? Unless you really do enjoy all the attention and are going with the "no publicity is bad publicity" mantra.

Roy you are now embarressing yourself just go and do what your no doubt good at and stop patronising people on here with your self promotion

Hi Roy, I think you are missing the point somewhat, regarding your latest comments here,

This forum should be about what people would like to read and indeed what is useful and beneficial for them to read, not what you would like to post, you are merely proving the point that a growing number of people are trying to make.

Most of what you used to post was very useful and informative, I really think it is time you reverted back to posting what you know about and leave the legal stuff to the very qualified and very competent lawyers.

Take the very obvious hints from the Corvera owners and go back to doing what you did best for everybody's sake, this is now boring and not helpful, it is also not entirely the fault of everybody else, you must shoulder some of the blame for clogging up this forum and particularly this thread with useless drivel which has no bearing on Corvera at all.

Please stop and let's get back to providing good, informative and up to date information about Corvera.

Good luck with your business, but you will notice the area to the left of this post and most threads is for advertising, not the posts themselves.

We are about to complete on our 2 Bed apt in Corvera and are grateful for the many honest and positive contributions made by other members of this Forum. 

I understood though that this was a forum for the Corvera community, yet see a numer of particularly distasteful postings from 'Roda Golf ' forum member.  Very odd.

Please keep up the great postings, the chat and the banter - meant for us to help ourselves. Feel free to drop the pointed, argumentative and disruptive postings as they really are completely irrelevant and banal.

Roy, please continue be a cool and diplomatic head, in a potentially volatile predicament, please continue to offer your very sound advise and above all, continue to behave in the most  courteoous manner, that has put a number of names posting here, to complete and utter shame.

Moving on....  We look frward to meeting friends and neighbours in Corvera, this summer.
