News on Golf course

Hi All

   Just went to my home page and put in the new name of the complex to see if anything would come up, guess what it did according to the link the golf course is opening in May and golf packages are available with the other resorts. Thy are calling it the Jack Nicklaus trail, it also shows pictures of the course and apartments so i hope for all us golfers we might be playing golf on our own course very soon. Does anyone know if we get better rates for the golf as we are residents? Surely we must get some kind of discount.

 Yes you will get residents rates, when we have stayed on La Torre  we have played on there and EL Valle also Mar Menor and Hacienda Riquelme,  when you rent your apartment out they also get the discount for staying on the complex, this has been the case up till now i hope Olagolf don't change this situation we will have to wait and see.

Hope you are well.

I have seen elsewhere that Olagolf who are managing golf at Condado,Mar Menor & of course Terrazas have suggested that golf will start at Terrazas in September.

Opinion suggests that it will open as 9 holes as it is thought that the other holes are "at least" 6 months from being ready.

The Nicklaus Trail has shrunk since the PW "recent outcome" and no longer includes Terrazas (AKA La Torre Sur) with only La Torre El Vallee & Hacienda Riquelme remaining. Highly unlikely then that there will be any discounts to Terrazas residents on the smaller Nicklaus Trail.

If Olagolf follow PW's habits there is a €10 reduction for residents & incidentally PW have just reduced the green fees on N.Trail by €10 so residents now pay €45 per round ( other offers available) & you are quite right, owners can given certification to renters allowing them residents rates.
