Official letter arrived - any ideas ?

Just got back from a flying visit & in our post box was a wage slip type letter which has "Orden De Domicilacion" & " Justificante Para La Entidad Colaboradora" & "Justificante Para El Interesado" on it with a bill by the looks of it for about €104.....any ideas what this is/anyone else had one ?

I think you will find that this is the council tax payable to Murcia council.

We paid a similar amount this time last year.

Just took it into our bank and they made the payment for us.

You should also be able to set it up so its taken automatically from your account so you don't have to go into the bank every year.

Does than mean it's only that amount for 1 year ? Doesnt seem a lot!

Will try to set up an automatic payment too.

Re IBI tax

I have just set up a DD with the bank to pay this tax annually,

 Contact  Alahama council  by  e-mail ; the guy I spoke with was Juan Martinez he was very helpful,and he sent the documents and I did everything via e-mail..

Problem is that it had to be completed by 1 st June for this years payment,

I have rung them, they have said to pay every year by direct debit & have emailed me all the details. Very helpful.

Just had the following payments taken from my account for Euros 44.09, twice.  Is this description for the Council Tax (IBI) Payment and is the 2 payments, one for me and the other for the wife?

DIRECT DEBIT AYUNTAMIENTO DE ALHAMA DE MURCIA.

AYUNTAMIENTO DE ALHAMA DE MURCIA does appear on my bill, so maybe its for the same thing.  You can call them on 968 63 67 80 they just need your NIE numbers to find you on their system. Maybe worth checking......

just checked and ours have been taken out, but nearly 54 euro's each. still cheap though compared to uk.

Same for us 44 euro's or there abouts x2 said AYUM ALHAMA on the Bank account..Last August we were at the Bank regarding our deeds and mentioned we had the letter about the tax  and the assistant took that letter and said she would sort it.

Hi All,

Just returned from CdA, and also had one of these in my postbox.  Just took the lot to my local Santander bank in Camposol (as there are a number of bank names on form). They paid it directly out of my account and set up the DD.  Simples.  Yeah you're right Ali.  Being a bloke it would have to be "simples"

Mine is over €100 and now they need last years payment too making it over €200! Not sure why I didnt receive a bill last year......
