Just thought I would share with you that I have received a refund from Ryanair for the full amount claimed for flights, this wasnt straightforward as our original flights were cancelled we got the first available flights which were 10 days later printed off the boarding passes but 2 days later checked the Ryanair website and low and behold there were earlier flights at the week-end but at a premium price. We wanted to get home so paid €549 for 4 tickets.
We faxed all the details as directed and didnt claim for any other expenses (hubby thought that if you claimed too much you wouldnt get anything so just claimed for the air tickets!)
We were not notified of the refund I found a telephone to Ryanair that only charged 10p a minute and the opeator informed me that our credit card has been refunded for the full amount claimed!
On this occasian Ryanair has come up trumps but hearing what their recent profits were I dont feel too bad. (Only wish we had claimed more!)
