we had our casa in the campo completely screened by the ferreteira in the square in corvera made to measure as the flys do get too you in the end. Also recommend a couple of oscilating fans as they dont settle when there is a constant draught

Nice tip about the oscillating fans Iwik. This is the sort of thing we need more of posted on the forum.
PS. I take it you don't mean oscillating England football fans about to faint after watching the world cup debarkle.

Hey Steve,
At the risk of being called nosey, may i ask why you are not an owner yet?
You said quite some time ago that you had negotiated a really good deal with Calidona to swap from phase 3 to a completed property, have you had or are you having second thoughts?? I guess given the total lack of facilities and the ongoing problem of Calidona trying to put the blame on those that have not completed it is understandable. But given you have been a significant member of the all things are great community (this isnt meant as an insult) i am curious to know.
Regards
Dave

Hi Dave
I don't believe that I ever said ALL things are great although I still believe the eventual future possibilities coulld be excellent (not so excellent as the original brochures dreams but times have changed and it never usually works out quite as good as the dream). I dreamed last night that I was in bed with Kylie but woke up next to Jane. For every reason I can think of that matters to me, I believe I got the best deal!
As far as completing we are literally on the verge of doing so, technical details such as finances have needed to be sorted and Corvera have been working very hard to secure these for us. I must admit there have been times when I could just throw our deposit in the bin and walk away but this has not a lot to do with Corvera, much more the Spanish banking and legal systems etc.
It really does drive you potty sometimes but rest assured I will let you all know when we do finally complete
(Sorry peeps I know this has nothing to do with fly spraying but I was asked the question via forum so thought that I should answer it that way! Maybe in future if we are 'off topic' a PM would keep the thread cleaner?) This message was last edited by SteveandJane on 01/07/2010.

Hi Steve,
Did you know that Phase 3 buyers have got their deposit back via the Bank in out of court settlement? So actually as a phase 3 purchaser you might not be faced with the prospect of "walking away and throwing your deposit in the bin"....

To continue with Steve’s analogy………
I would compare the experience of purchasing on Corvera with the nightmare vision of spending the night with a Bangkok lady-boy.
The facilities that you were expecting aren’t there and you end up being shafted unless you take a firm grip of the situation.
