Pools

Hi

Does anyone know if they put chlorine in the swimming pools. The last time I was over in June i cant say I noticed any.

If they do is it tested?

Good question Jonathon, they certainly use chlorine in the pools at Roda and as we had some problems with cleanliness of some pools I have asked Housing, the Administrator, if there is any legal requirement in Spain to,  a. test chemical levels or b, notify someone on a regular basis what chlorine and Ph levels are just in case anyones hair should turn green or swimmers catch a plague or similar.

I still do not have an answer from Housing.

Yes they do use chlorine in the pools, you just have to look at the blocks in the skimmer drains and you can also smell it plus they dos test the pools twice a week for levels

The main problem is that in very high heat it burns off very quickly

We have a professional pool cleaning company looking after our private pool.They clean the pool up to twice a week and test it and according to them you should not actually smell the chlorine if it is at a correct level.If you can smell it ,the levels of chlorine are too high.Maybe this explains why you may not be able to detect it.
