Hi there. Just got back from a week in Spain and a visit to the site as well as San Jose's office for a meeting with Pilar. Pilar informed us that phase s 4,7,10,15 & 16 are all starting at the same time as will work on the hotel and club house for the golf. When we arrived at the site there was plenty of activity and I will attempt to upload the pictures later today if I get the chance.
She told us that 'Gas Natural' are bringing gas to the Jumilla site and eventually Jumilla itself and that this is going to be an option for everyone as the pipelines will go to all the houses that are being built and individual owners will have the option to install or not or indeed install later. We shall be having a think about changing our heating arrangements.
She also told us that San Jose were meeting with the architects last week to discuss completion dates for the various phases and that confirmation will be going to everyone with anticipated dates in the near future either via San Jose for direct clients like ourselves or via the agents.
What she did not tell us however was that there appears to have been changes to some of the internal electrical plug fittings in some of the houses which we discovered from Nuria at the site. We had ordered extra points that may not now ben required which I am disappointed with San Jose for not having informed us.
All in all the building work activity at the site was very encouraging and there was a constant stream of agents bringing potential buyers and investors to the site. It was however very cold and very windy but thankfully we had packed our 'thermals' and walking boots!!!
It was also very nice to meet Linda & David Needham and stay one night with them. I can endorse earlier recommendations about their bed and breakfast accommodation which is outstanding so do not stay at the Monreal or Pio X11 if Linda has any vacancies!!! The hotel Casa Luzon however was as comfortable as ever with the indor heated pool being a great attraction for us as well as the Casa Luzon wines!!
