Hi everyone,
Like bwl I am new to this forum(2nd entry) can anyone tell me how far on they are with the golf course and if they have started any of the building as yet.
We have bought a marbella row 4 - 439. We only intend to use it for holidays and for family/ friends to use.
Is there any indication as to when they will start with the bars, restaurants etc?.

Jenno,
Welcome to the forum, we were out over the New Year and fortunately whilst we were there, they started laying the foundations for R4 & R10 and started digging out the footings for R15. We were also fortunate to be gifted the opportunity to be able to lay the first foundations as well !!!!
If you take a look in the Shared Photos above, you will see a load of photo's taken by Linda Needham and myself over the New Year period. It's really coming on now and they'll be trying there best to gat back on track with completions.
I can tell you now, you'll have Great Auntie Linda as a neighbour....poor you (only joking Linda) :-)
We were told the Commercial area will be completed as Phase 2 starts, the area designated for this is at present been fenced off to house all the materials.
Welcome on board again
Darren & Michelle Ward

Kevin,
That wouldn't be a bad idea, or join us on the Solarium for a glass or two !!!
They will be nearly developed but it's whether they are utilised immediately. I know already they plan a Chinese Restaurant / Take Away. Possibly a bar but i suppose they need to gauge if there will be enough trade at the completion of Phase 1 to sustain business.

What is it about Chinese restaurants? When we are in Spain we like to eat Spanish food! We recently spent a week in an apartment in Playa Albir, and one night neither of us was feeling well so I got some microwave meals from the supermarket, only to discover that the microwave in our apartment wasn't functioning, and reception was closed! By the time we discovered this, it was fairly late. John didn't really want to go out to eat, so I went back to the shops and ended up with a Chinese take-away as the only place open was the Chinese restaurant! We spent a week in Jumilla last year, so know there are lots of places there, but I do hope we get a Spanish bar and restaurant at Santa Ana!

We are in Colliers Wood, which (if you haven't heard of it, and many people haven't!) is south of Tooting and east of Wimbledon. They have built some new apartments near us which are a lot more expensive and nowhere near as good as the ones in Santa Ana will be!
Yes, we tried lots of Spanish restaurants when we were in Jumilla, so we know we will have plenty of places if we fancy a meal out. Darren's paella sounds tempting too!

Unfortunately I am working tomorrow, however next time you are down this way let us know and maybe a few of us could meet up? I work part-time and can change my days if I have some notice. Alternatively, if I know the day before, I can book you in for a cheap lunch where I work - however no vino at work - sorry!
Kevin
We're not golfers (though my brother and nephew are, so will be visiting us as much as possible!) but nobody's perfect. It would be good to meet you and your wife some time.
