Where to get some Golf gear?

Hi all,

We are heading out to Corvera in about a week, and this trip I would like to get some golf gear to leave out there in the apartment for future use. We are really looking forward to seeing Corvera again, to get a bit of a break and some Spanish sunshine!

Can anyone please suggest any good golf shops in the area? I just want to get a few decent clubs (not necessarily a full set), some balls and tees and a bag etc. I am more of a weekend golfer than a serious player - my handicap is probably my swing!

Also, if anyone fancies a round (or even 9 holes) between Monday 1st to Friday 5th Nov please let me know.

When we went to Roda Pro shop  they had some good clothing, shoes etc but we have not been there for some time . Perhaps someone else would know what they have now.

Or else take some over and bring spanish items back in the suitcase.

Chris from LA Golf in Los Alcazares is fairly good. I got a few things off him before (including a junior set for my son) and he is good value. He'll also do a few deals. We checked out American Golf or whatever it was called in the Nueva Condiminia and they were about twice the price and without the helpful service.

You should buy in the UK and get items shipped it is cheaper and there is a better range of equipment plus American Golf will ship to Spain for free

What we do for customers is that they get items shipped to our address on Corvera  and we then sign and drop the items into their properties

I would have thought going to American golf and buying clothes, take them home, put them in your case and bring them over with you would be a lot easier than getting them shipped

Plus American golf dont sell the stuff they sell in the golf warehouse Hugh-man is on about

It is top quality

People get sets of clubs, power caddies and ,golf balls shipped, not clothing, as they are all much cheaper to buy in te Uk and get shipped free

The other way is to pay the €30 to €40 that the airlines charge for sports equipment, again easily saved compared to prices in Spain

Am I not right in saying the thread is about where to buy clothes not trolleys or the like

Yet another stupid response Carlos to a reasonable question and a sensible informed response from me

I have always found great golf company very helpful in Balsicas and have some good offers. Also Decathlon has a small range of basics at San Javier, Murcia or Cartagena. Good for cheap Balls, I should know as I loose alot!!!!
