I received a new specification this morning from Sonia in the site office. We are now getting a shower screen in the main bathroom as well as the air conditioning installed. She said the extras were as compensation for the delays. If anyone wants to see the specification it is on our other forum ( daren't mention the name of it here).

Hi All,
Just reading through the new specification in states that the worktops will be silestone !! does anyone know if this is the same as granite which was on the original specification..

I put silestone in the search engine and came up with this - It is the worlds leading quartz surface, combining strength and beauty to create a superior choice for nearly every surface in your home. It says unlike granite it will keep it's shine without sealing or polishing, and it is highly resistant to stains and is highly scratch resisitant. It is better than granite which is porous and needs sealing occasionally . We learn something every day.

Hi Val, I think there are too many clever folks about, it just proves you are never to old to learn new things. Must admit had never heard of it before. So quite impressive to tell eople what your kitchen surfaces are made of trouble is I will probably forget name. Carol

When you say you received a new specification from Sonia, may I ask, did you ask for this or was it automatically sent ?
We have yet to receive any update from PEINSA so interested how you got it...shoudl we all strike up email converstaion with the office ?

I haven't had any communication from Peinsa either other than when we have contacted them.
