Penalty for non-payment of Community fees or not..?

As I said earlier I'm not in favour of penalties where the administrator has failed to take a DD after saying they would.

However it is still the owners responsibility and owners who just left it (which doesn't seem to be the case in question) and didn't contact ML can't complain too much.

I think the service from ML has been fine.  RPM were poor and from what I've heard the records they kept were useless and ML has had to spend so much time trying to sort out the mess.  In someways when someone has done a half arsed job its much worse than if they hadn't done anything at all.

Looks like we have just got to bite the bullit and accept the penalty as the backdated fees are being debited next week. But I've sent numerous emails in the last few days voicing my opposition to this which obviously has fallen on deaf ears as I haven't had a reply to any of them from ML.

So if ML want to do things by the book no questions asked regarding the penalty, it's also in the laws that we as owners must receive a receipt for payments of community fees from the administrators....

Hmmm has anyone actually received a receipt from ML or RPM for community fees paid? As the only recognition that my fees are paid is on my bank statement !!

I'm still waiting on a response back on this one from ML. Maybe I'm being picky here but as ML say RULES are RULES arent they.

I must thank my president also who has been fighting my corner too, but to no avail unfortunately.

I just voiced my opinion but deep down I knew we weren't the only victims in the same situation.

I can understand that Milenium were sold a 'pup' as regards data from rpm.  They won't want to get involved in individual cases.

I have not paid the Penalty, and have asked milenium to put my case to the presidants.

Still no reply!

If its a brick wall,  then I want the money to go to a local charity.

Its not a cast of non payment, so if i'm going to suffer a penalty,  I don't see why a charity cannot benefit from the mess!!

P.S.  anyone for cricket !!

Totally agree on the penalties.These simply should not be charged to owners who suffered due to to the change of administrator. 

Lets put a motion at the AGM that no penalties should apply, and if charged be rebated, for those that suffered due to the handover.
