Hi Iain and Wendy,
Where is the restuarant? Is it Los Alcazares?
We went to a really nice Spanish place called Rancho Blanco, which is near Villa Martin and Torrevieja. Very authentic, run by one family. The food was excellent and plentiful, and there were lots of spanish families eating there, which is a good sign. It's actually up a dirt track on a roundabout, but is always full and well known.
Also the restaurants at VillaMartin ( the new one) are very nice, we have been to a few of those too.
Hope to meet you all soon
Karen

Hi
Has anyone tried the restaurant El Cherro in Murcia?
My husband recently found out that his cousin owns it and wondered if anyone had an opinion on it !!
Its in the city so i expect its unlikely that anyone has tried it whilst visiting but if you have we would love to hear what you have to say!!
Gracias amigos
p.s Iain and wendy, my husband supports Liverpool and I said to him last night, shouldnt we be cheering for Spain now?...... ......well I wont tell you the look he gave me!! x

Hi Iain
Just got back from Anfield watching the reds stuff Barca. The only time I'll be supporting a Spanish team is when they play that team up the East Lancs Road.

By the time we all live in Spain Real Murcia may well be in La Liga. They are at the top of the Segunda Division at the moment. We'll certainly be going to watch them.
When in Rome.....................

They currently operate out of San Javier and will move to the new airport when it opens towards the beginning of 2010
The chief of the regional public works department, Joaquín Bascuñana, has confirmed that the four low-cost airlines which currently operate out of San Javier will move over to the new Murcia International Airport in Corvera when it opens. That’s expected for the end of 2009 or the beginning of 2010.
The companies concerned are Ryanair, Jet2, Easyjet and Air Berlin, who, according to Bascuñana, have all said they will increase the number of routes they currently operate.
He’s also said that special training courses will be on offer for studies related to airport employment. Residents of Fuente Alamo, Valladolises, Corvera and Los Martínez del Puerto will be given priority for jobs.
