Much needed asset on the resort.
The disregard The Clover has shown to the golf society is amazing, clearly sound business intent is non-existent.
I for one will certainly be using this new facility once opened as much as I can (absolute 100% support for this venture). As a community we have to make sure it works.
Has there been any further noise about the clubhouse for the course? Heard nothing for a good while now.

Has anyone from the golf society approached the Clover since IRM took it over? Or has it not made any difference?
Either way, looking forward to coming over in September and using the new sports bar. I do hope it's a success.

Hello Folks
Totally understand the delays due to the spanish system etc annoying as it is. My question is are the new owners allowed to make a start on the bar in any way? So when the paperwork gets sorted they'll be ready for action?
Cheers

OMG, I come out in a cold sweat at just the thought of Herbert being behind the bar on opening night!!!!!
On the plus side local residents wouldn’t have to worry about it closing on time.

Jackie ............... Happy Herbert wouldn't have needed a knife to cut the ribbon, just his 'gritted teeth' .......... for the record, The Surgery was the 1st place i visited on CdA on my first trip (yep, checked out the bar b4 my apartment), so being served by the miserable Herbert kind of set the ground rules for me with regard to PW level of service .............. on a miserable scale then at the same level as Sir Baconface of Sourpuss

LOL!!! David......
Well I never had a problem with Herbet he always use to look after me! Many a time my glass was so full of bicardi I couldn't fit any coke in!!!! I think it kinda came as a dare!!!
Yes PGM I agree he didn't seem to worry about closing time either!
The only regret I had was when I tried to get to smile......... and as you say not a pretty sight!! LOL!
Then I couldn't stop him from smiling!! I think sometimes you should leave thing as they are .
But yes I say bring back Herbet!!

Hi thesimpsons
Thanks for the update! Maybe you you could make it as a multi function room, and hire it out to various people, but also keeping it for something more permanent. I believe there is yoga lessons going at the moment, so maybe someone else would do other classes? Self defence, Zumba?
Good luck and hope the "wheel clogs" move faster for you!
