Even if you found a real estate disaster which was caused not just by Spain or spaniards alone, but because of the confluence of many factors as described here .....

I assure you...

...Spain is still all that...

...and that you can find good prices of finished houses now...

Maybe now it is the moment... it was not 6-8 years ago due to the euro´s immaturity.

 Just to let you know visited the Hippo site last week,it was so sad completely wrecked ,no security,all windows ,doors every bit of wiring etc etc.gone or destroyed.If Aifos had any thought of finishing all they had to do was to put a security guard on the gate now it is hopeless.

Am trying to get my money back via Maria de castros firm but getting knowhere unless i pay more money very very wary having lost so much money to Spanish fraud ,why doesnt the Goverment give the money back to all off the robbed people and im sure they would invest in a clean and uncorruot Spain,if thats ever possible ,

because the Spanish government are as big a crooks as the developers!.   If they had any intention of honesty or integrity they could have made sure all monies were paid back through bank guarantees, or set up funds  for those they themselves have cheated by their lack of regulation, court delays, crooked councils etc etc.   I firmly believe the only chance of justice will come from intervention or pressure from outside Spain, and nobody there also has the balls to do anything at the moment.  It's daylight robbery from the so called highest powers in the land, but  I feel their lack of action makes them down there with the lowest in my opinion, because of their positions of highest legal trust which they have betryayed and abused.
