Any News?

Not heard anything for a while.  Is there anything new? or just the normally no news from San Jose.

Hi Dave. No news at all. Just the same old rhetoric, waiting on the courts to stamp the paper so the water license can be issued, finance in the offing, yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn!  Bet you`re glad you`ve got your cash. I`ve bought an old village house, twice the size,and half the price, than the Marbella I was going to buy, so as far as I`m concerned San Jose have done me a favour. It would be nice to get my cash back, then I could retire and enjoy the life style that SJ have  robbed us all of.

Yep we too feel San Jose going into administration the first time did us a favour, in that we bought a better house in a better location for considerable less €'s. Although getting our money back took some time it certainly allowed us to enjoy life here.

Wheres the village house you bought? in Jumilla?

Hi Dave, Its between Jumilla and Pinoso, very peaceful and mostly Spanish. Its a far cry from the urbanisation life I thought I wanted. I don`t ever see Jumilla being built, they haven`t a hope in hell of selling any property at the prices they were charging back in 2006. They would have to drastically reduce the prices to have any hope of making Santa Ana a success, and I don`t think that`s going to happen, if it ever was to get off the ground.
