We too decided against the class action, and have instructed Maria of Costaluz Lawyers to fight our case against the banks !

Hoping for a positive outcome, and an end to this 7 year nightmare !!

I am also part of the 12 taking the banks to court

I am flying out to Alicante on weds to see with my own eyes that this nightmare is nearly over (and catch a bit of sun).

I have agreed to meet with Guadalupe after the hearing, so should have something concrete to report back.

I have met with Guadalupe before and she really does fill me with masses of confidence and couple this with all the recent good news from Keith and other cases, we should be in for some good news.

I'll raise a glass for all of us after our deserved victory

Just out of interest, those who have court hearings coming up which bank is it and have you already cancelled your contract with san jose when we were given that option about 2 years ago?

yeah we cancelled ours

 

We cancelled our contract as soon as we could,

It is the first thing you have to do before you can start to try and get your money back from the banks.

Worked for us as we have had our money back thanks to Maria.

Stupid question but are these court cases a preliminary hearing or final?  Also how did the 7th March people get on? Good news I hope...

The day in court went very well.
The accepted that our case will get a positive ruling, however those people who voted for the build to carry on have had to have their contracts cancelled which has made the judge suspend for 2/3 weeks.
The judge has said "I want to get this sorted" and is certainly with us, I was sat in the court room and Guadalupe was great.
Afterwards she went through it all with me, and I now feel that monies should start being returned to us in 2/3 months time.
This with Keith's ruling earlier (which Guadalupe used as a precedence, which the banks lawyers knew nothing about, which she nevervmentioned in pretrial-very clever) and this should prove to all, including SARC that this is the way forward to get your money back for good or buy to another property (at half the price of SADM)
The champagne is now certainly on ice

That sounds like positive news for you all.

We have already been refunded and our case was also against BBVA.

Lets hope you all get your refund soon.

SARC made us out to be a special case so by you winning that will show them that there are more "special cases" out there.

I would change to Gaudaloupe in Gaudamar wedidgetourmoneyback with PSI but only because we were very active and went every week to the office it is a long story but in he end it was us who put SGR under pressure not PSI
