Hi Janmet & Sawalanza,
Just had a look at the link the photos on that site show DJ Phase 3 to have 3 buildings 1 large one and another 2 behind it. This is odd as the original plans the developers have unveiled (and what Perla told me) is that phase 3 would have just the 1 large building. Looks like Arrohabitatge are telling porkies as usual.

Hi RG,
You are looking at one building in phase 3 and two buildings in phase 2 (bl 1+2), so please don't by to mad about the drawings, you just have to know what they are showing.
Best Regards,
Wichmann

Hello! I have just bought a "contract" for a phase 1 apartment. The seller has made a few Euros but I'm happy with what I've bought and the price in today's market. Having looked all over Costa del Sol Don Juan is great (unless you're into mountaineering or want to go on a three day trek to the coast). In the absence of any official spec for the apartment I've bought please let me know if air conditioning is installed as standard. Does anyone have an original brouchure I could copy to see what spec I've bought? I'd hate to have bought in phase 3 - they just knocked a block of flats just like that down half a mile away from where I live! David Munster

Hi David
Phase 1 doesn't have any air conditioning as standard, you will have to have this installed after completion. I have the original spec sheet from when i bought in Phase 1 back in 2003 if you forward me your email i can scan it and send it to you. Which block & what floor have you bought in?

Thanks for your advice - I've sent you my e-mail address. The apartment I've bought is in block 6 on the ground floor. Viva Estates had 6 re-sales on their books.

Hello, We have also just taken over a 'contract' on a groundfloor apartment on Phase 1. We're in block 10. It was great to find this site, really interesting reading your comments over the last couple of years! RG could you also send me the spec sheet? Thanks

Hi Rydon,
Like you, I was also pleased to read the mail from EyeOnSpain telling that we was "Awarded" with a Community Website, and I'm looking forward to see what fun stuff we can make off that.
Also a thanks to all from me. I hope that you all will support the website, when started.

I have just posted some photos I took on Sunday of the terrace area of our ground floor apartment (block 6). I was surprised to see we have got a small fenced "garden" and that the fence gives us no access to the sea facing garden. The provision of the walkway down from the neighbouring block gives them access to this area that we thought was for our block. The use of these fences does not seem to be widespread at the moment (although we did feel we were trespassing having climbed over the fence and didn't look at every block).
I am also posting a (not optimistic) note on the completion thread

Interesting to see the 'garden'. We have also bought a ground floor apartment and were told about the garden when we bought in August. The impression was that it would be a planted 'fence' and that there were plans to put in gates so that we would have easy access out. Interesting to see if these materialise.

Disturbing fences Michelle! We also bought an appartment with garden and were under the impression that we would have a substantial private area.
Did you ever get a specification of the garden area? We got a confirmation that it would be between 20 and 30 square meters.

No Max I didn't - we bought through Viva and they indicated that the private garden area was bigger than it is and that we would have access from the private area to the common area. I have asked Viva's Fuengerola Office Manager for clarification. He may be waiting for a response from the builder but as yet he has not replied.

We had it written (by hand) on the drawings and in the initial payment we referred to these drawings. No idea if it holds on in court, but alas better than nothing.
On your pictures there is a fenced path showing with some houses on the background. I can't place this view. Are these houses part of the coastal area below? Where is this path leading to?
