Burglaries

Hi there I was a bit concerned reading a thread about the burglaries that have taken place on our complex as I have just furnished our apartment and we didn't buy rubbish,to be told that our particular blocks have been targeted,I noticed when I was there that the farmland behind us there is an access road and that people from our complex can access the land behind us so I am assuming the same can happen the other way round does any body have any thought on this problem as it has left me feeling a little uneasy

I think I read that security has been increased since these incidents took place, that's if we are referring to the same thing.
It is something all owners think about I'm sure, and as terrazas is a lot quieter than other resorts it's a target in my opinion, hopefully over time and the numbers of owner/holiday makers increase it will become safer.
I know it's not very aesthetically pleasing but I will be fitting extra locks on the entrance door just for extra deterrent.

I hope it's something non of us have to experience, as owners we definitely need to look out for each other.

The burglaries that i think you are refering to took place well over a year ago, the apartments that were broken into were all ground floor. This happened very early in the morning when the guards were changing shifts around 6:30 Am, since then more security camera's have been put in place around the perimeter wall. The guards pertrol in cars around every half an hour & the guards also walk around on foot early evenings.

Hi there Clive thanks for your reply regarding burglaries you were right that they are patrolling every hour ,we have just come back after three weeks.I didn't realize that it all took place a year ago and at groung level we are on the top floor so I do feel a bit more secure now you have made us feel a bit more secure cheers mate regards Laurie
