You havent done you home work why are you buying on the ground floor when the chance of being brocken in to are that much higher ground floor apartments are always much cheeper because of this high risk. ( unfinnished building site does this answer ghost town ).

I am sorry windtalker but what you are saying isn't totally true, especially on a site like Terraces where the security is good and where there have been fewer break ins that most other local resorts plus we are now out of season so yes it is quiet
Ground floor propertues are actually normally more expensive because they have more land and advantages such as easy access to the pools and gardens
Security on ground floor properties is all about common sense adding things like additional security bolts on doors and windows, a PIR light on the front of the property and possibly a cheap wireless alarm or dummy box and camera, really all deterents plus having a food property manager onsite watching things. I live in a villa on another site where we have had crime and I only ever suggest the basis security measures that I have on my property
As far as the site being deserted as I said it is out of season although the course is busy with people not staying onsite.
You really have to consider why you are buying, forget rental income to cover your costs, yes for cheap family holiday home, for profit from resale not for at least 5-8 years, are they good value yes

I can honestly say security is probably safer on terrazas than the surrounding area, one incident a few years ago of ground floor apartments being broken into was I'm lead to believe we're English, they put a mattress on top of the fence and climbed over, all seen by security on cctv so they were caught red handed, as far as I'm aware nothing has happened since. Terrazas is a few years behind other neighboring resorts and with the recession it's put it further back, that's one of the reasons it's considerably cheaper than other polaris resorts. I've been staying on Le torre for many years if you walk around there in the height of summer in the middle of the day it's still very quiet. Terrazas will take a few more years to develop, the more properties sold will attract more interest from the outside so more shops, bars etc but this isn't going to happen overnight. Even as it currently stands there is nothing I don't like about terrazas, the block I've just purchased in has sold all 32 apartments which I hope continues to the ones under construction. Oh and the biggest plus about the resort is the people everyone I have met so far are so friendly and welcoming, it is a great place to be. Roll on next week when I'm back out.

Hi Graham,
As an owner on Terrazas I have to question windtalkers statements
Yes like most resorts, Terrazas is quiet at this time of year. Peak times are obviously school holidays, but many owners prefer to visit out of season, depends on what you are looking for. High season for golfers begins shortly and the course will be very busy but mainly with visitors from off site. Building is in progress and all the "skeletons" should be finshed next year, sales are reported to be good, not surprising at the prices being asked by the developer. Many of the apartments on phase 1 are bank owned and arenow being released a few at a time at prices less than half of what the "early owners" paid.
Prices for ground floor are usually higher because of ease of access to garden areas pools etc, and although there is a greater risk of breakins, security at Terrazas is excellent as you will have seen when you came on your inspection visit.
I own a ground floor on phase 2 and really like the resort, and have made a lot of friends, there is a really good community spirit with a mix of Spanish and North European owners. Cant wait to be back there in a weeks time.
If you have any queries pm me

I am the owner of a 3 floor apartment on a gated comunity with a 24 hour security dog patrol and I have lost count of the number of ground floor apartment that have been brocken into on my site I did not refer to Terrazas in anyway I was just stating a fact if you buy on the ground floor on any complex you will get burgled before any other floor that is above you good luck.

I think that it is unfair to compare your site and generalise in this way and perhaps if you tried to go oonto this site you might relaise just how tight security is
I am guessing that you may ne on Mosa Trajectum from tour comments and to honest if yes a site with a broken down polistyrene perimeter wall and closed golf course really isn't a fair comparison

Anyone would think, this give was being told to purchase. It is NOT conditional. Read the comments and make up your own mind, however don't try to get into TDLT as security may well stop you.

We got all lights and electrical goods from Tien 21 in Roldan, excellent service, delivered and fitted. Lights under €20 fitted for €5 otherwise free. We got them to fit our Aircon too, the comfort of after sales service.

Hi, First place to look for furniture is DFS in San Javier just a 15 min drive from Terrazas, staff are very helpful & they sell other things e.g washing machines, kitchen things, & bathroom things. Good luck with your move. Regards Eve & Clive.

Hi,
I agree, DFS are fantastic. Also Tiene 21 in Roldan are excellent for white goods, and electric things generally. Will often install the same day.
Terrazas is a lovely place and hope you new owners will be as happy as we are.
Barbara and Roger.
