Beautiful weather and DVD looking great

Hello everyone from beautiful sunny DV. The weather has been amazing this week so far and the kids have actually been in the pool the last two days - rather them than me! The village is looking very smart with the welcome removal of the electricity cables. The phase one painted blocks all look very well done and there has been a lot of work going on every day we've been here bar Sunday. Several blocks including ours in phase two have skips and cement mixers / grinders etc outside and seem to be having repairs done prior to painting. There have also been a lot of people looking around the village apparently with a view to buy. Enjoying a nice coffee at the golf club now after a pleasant meal at Flame last night. Wish you were all here!

I agree we have just returned from the village , and yes it is looking really good. The cherry picker at the top of the hill has been most beneficial and the painters are really cracking on with block7 etc , at a good pace.

There is also lots of prospective buyers around the area.  

Bloque 7 now all done, including the stairways and corridors - looks fab!! The painters have done a brilliant job, very neat and thorough, did all my planters ( which are full of plants ) very carefully with minimal pruning or paint on leaves - unavoidable in a couple of places, even screwed my hosepipe holder back on the wall!! Lovely friendly guys too - job well done

Although front of block 7 is done, the stairwells are still in progress.  This photo was taken today.

But the painters are progressing well and doing a grand job. 

Only  a few specs of paint on the balcony - so I will be getting out the wire wool ( I still have some wire wool left over from  2007 - when we hadmasses of paint and concrete splashes on our newly purchased apartment balacony !).

I see also that broken tiles are being replaced on the footpaths.

Now we must somehow ensure  that, as and when apartments are sold.  the furniture delivery lorries don't park on the paths and smash up the tiles again.  I don't know why but lorry and van drivers are prone to undertake such destruction around these parts.

Also I remember when the top floor was sold above me.  Furniture was delivered that was too big for the lift and so the furniture vendor's people carried stuff up the stairs  smashing a light cover and chipping paint off  many the corners !!  The whole stair well was messed up in 10 ten minutes flat.

This is likely to  happen again in spades as apartments are sold off - unless these delivery people are supervised.  Owners need to take responsibility for their deliveries in these circumstances.

Have noticed a few perspective buyers looking around today.
