Oooh! This Puccinis sounds lovely. Can someone please tell us exactly where it is? We are not far from Torrevieja, (southern end) which end is the restaurant? We are always on the look out for nice places to eat!!
We hoped to go to Cocos in Almoradi at Christmas, but it was closed for a week, so missed it. We went to the restaurant near the petrol station, past Amarion III rear, into the industrial part. If you like very Spanish food you will love it. It was very oily and salty. They could not speak any English and our Spanish is very limited ( ashamed to say) ! There were 5 of us we all ordered a starter each, but ended up with, 5 starters FOR 5! Tried "bien hechol" for well done steak, but it had to go back 3 times! The poor waiter said Mas y Mas and we said por favor! Thought we were getting it right, must learn more Spanish!! They did have a menu/dictionary but it did not seem to work. If you try it please take a phrase book and dictionary, unless you are fluent Spanish! Bless the poor waiter.
There is a really nice Chinese on the Punta Prima roundabout on the N332 south of Torrevieja before you get to Playa Flamenca! They bring you a FULL crispy duck and carve it at your table. We didn't try it but our mouths were watering. What we had was lovely, but when we go this month... we will be trying the duck!!
Please, Gabe or lajj, could you give us directions to Puccinis? Thanks.
