Hi

I have received an email from AEA asking me to confirm my bank details for their direct debit on the community fees.  They say its due to a "database error".  Seems a bit strange seeings as they have been taken the fees succesfully for almost 7 years now without any problem including the most recent just a couple of weeks ago.  Has anyone else received a similar email?

Yes, got one today from Ana at AEA as you say seemed a bit odd,called AEA to check and it apears their database is corrupted.

Yes, thanks for your reply. I emailed them and as you say it seems to be legit. I'm just hoping they don't start taking duplicate payments or anything like that.

We had the same email from Ana, we contacted AEA ( Melisa ) she confirmed that the email was genuine and not spam, and that there bank was asking for this information to be provided due to a data base error, never heard of this one before, this does seem a strange request.

Seems like we all got the same message.  They lost our bank details it appears.

I thought the email was worded strangely.  It implied my bank details had changed but I knew

that was not the case. 

OK.  Well I will mail them my bank details too.

Hopefully this won't hurt our community cash flow too much !
