News Release For Corvera

I have just read a report in the Murcia news that the owner of Corvera Golf, Mr Rizzo, is going to make 220 properties available, free of charge, for use by European refugees and make the closed course avaiable for camping

So added to all of the other known problems on this resort, the developer not paying fees, the closure of the course, the banks selling properties at heavy discounts, the  airport not happening and the original threat of social housing owners now have to deal with this news

Perhaps like the social housing threat, that didn't happen,  this is only a threat by the developer but Murcia region have agreed to take around 2000 refugees but also it isn't very good press, especially when the aricle talks about the great facilities, pools, gardens and much more

What more can they do to these owners, I was going to buy on this site at one time, glad that I didn't

I received this release yesterday and cannot believe the comments and think what the developer is actually doing is trying to force the banks into re-financing the development, similar to what was released regarding social housing

I also understand that a TV company was there yesterday interviewing Mr Rizo the owner, real shame that they were not given ALL of the facts

Already this release has had an impact of property sales here

It's not going to happen!  It seems that the major stumbling block is that Corvera doesn't have enough facilities to offer the refugees............you couldn't make it up.  

This Rizo character is an absolute bell-end.

Have just uploaded a couple of pics of our pool area with its new astoturf area. When the news item says 'empty pools' , they are only empty of people. Communal pools are more like private ones.

MrAHole may be able to run the golf course down (We can play elsewhere),. He can minimise the Clubhouse opening hours (We can eat and drink in the town next door) He may even be able to effectively devalue our properties but what he will never do is extinguish our resolve. As owners we have created some lovely community oasis's within Corvera Golf & Country Club where we can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Spanish countyside with it's wonderful mountain views, in the sunshine with some wonderful friends.

I really do hope that the pressure he is trying to put onto the banks works and they repossess everything that he has borrowed against from him. Corvera G&CC still has all the potential to become the place that it originally promised once the asset stripper has been evicted and the golf course area is sold to somebody that actually has an interest in making it a success..

Hello  everyone, We are looking at Le Torre and Terrazas along with Corvera?  Can anyone advise us on this resort please?  we are looking for a 2 bed apartment?
