Hi Pacheran,
When you say you installed sky, do you mean you had it installed by the company who do all the sky fitting in RdM, or did you install it, ? When I had mine installed the company checked it out and made sure it was working and recieving all the channels. I could get all BBC and ITV etc but no channel 4 / 5. I then bought a free view card in la Cala and everything is fine.
Kenny E ,and James123. Great News, things can only get better
John

I made the mistake of not having the sky box when the company installed the wiring into my appartment. Hopefully they will return to check the system without additional charge? i might also win the lottery this week!!!!!

It will be especially nice if the plan includes changing the empty and vandalised building that stands in the same area there at the moment. This message was last edited by M6 on 6/18/2007.

Hi M6
I have heard from Locals that that may well be the place where the Station is planned. However no doubt Kenny E and his other well informed cronies will have an opinion about it, they have an opinion about every other matter, we will see. And as they are closely tied to some of the local developers, they probably have a share in it also.
Only time will tell
Jake

Jakemanzana,
An interestingly antagonistic first ever post (are you manzanapresident/ADT in disguise?).
You will have to do rather better than this in order to get anyone to see that all my posts over the last 13 months have proven to be anything but completely correct.
Many kind regards.
P.S. As stated in my 4th post on here in June 2006, I do NOT work for Peñarroya, Marbella Town Council, Junta de Andalucia or Eyeonspain.com.

Oh Dear, did we strike a nerve there I am sceptical when people make bold statements like
"As stated in my 4th post on here in June 2006, I do NOT work for Peñarroya, Marbella Town Council, Junta de Andalucia or Eyeonspain.com."
remember Bill Clinton "i did not have sex with that woman"
Tony Blair " Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction"
Come on Kenny come clean let everyone know who you really are?
I did not say that you worked for anyone! get your facts right !
Jake

Okay, you´re right - I actually work for them all (and full-time). Well done for forcing this information out of me in just two posts. Now, before you compare me to yet another World leader I think it´s better to return this forum to development issues.
(Extra flattery by private message only please).

you have to remember we are all on the same side, the frustrations of the last few years are enough to test the nerves of anyone .
however back to the orginal, theme great news on the underground train. As i have said before if we get the infrastrucure, give it a few years and we will all be toasting are glass's in the bar ( let's hope at least). To catch a train to malaga centre, marbella, puerto banus what more can you ask for, a late train service perhaps!!
i have had no reply from president or the office on a date for AGM MANZANA 3 surely they must have booked a hotel by now!! any news please post it

james

We agree jamesyvonne we look forward to the communty growing and to it being filled by owners who are as pleased as we are. All the messages on here should be positive ones now that we are getting the paperwork from the town hall and the future plans for the area .A train service to and from the airport almost door to door has to be more good news for us all again.

Hi - hope I'm allowed to post here!
I have been following the postings on La Reserva as the situation is very similar to ours on our development - no current building licence, no LFO etc. Also facing the dilemma of whether to complete or not (pressure from those who have because of not contributing to the community charges etc. and from the developer).
I have always been under the impression, and have read on other forums, that I am not legally obliged to complete by law when there is no LFO. If this is correct, how can it be that the developer can threaten to impose fines for every day that I haven't completed?
Hope one of you can enlighten me as it seems my situation is similar to that at La Reserva. Any help/info appreciated as I'm really worried.
Thanks.

My thanks to maddy.hall and seabury4 for their helpful pm replies/info.
Much appreciated.
Have now discovered that when a developer puts in an 'illegal clause' that completion is when the Architect issues his End of Works certificate and you sign the contract, then that is it. You've burned your bridges.
It is regarded as an illegal clause because it goes against the law that states completion is when the LFO is actually issued. Future buyers beware - don't allow this illegal clause to be in your contract!
Wish all of you at La Reserva good luck.

Further enquiries seem to reveal that there is big interest from Germany in Marbella at present and they are looking at the top end of the market 800,000 upwards. The interest in property is in Marbella and not elsewhere.
I would imagine the interest will find its ways through to all property prices bringing an increase in property prices. I think Marbella is back as a number 1 spot in Europe. It was only a matter of time. Its a wounderful city on the beach.
So maybe we were lucky to have made our purchases in the blue line area. Keep La reserva looking good and keep off the flower beds no matter where they are planted.
