Hi everyone
I think Kevin and Vera will agree when I say it was reassuring to talk to the reps from San Jose on Saturday. One of them hadn't been working for San Jose that long, but seemed to have identified their weak points (communications!) but also emphasised that he felt they are a reputable company or he wouldn't have joined them, and that he was confident that progress would continue to be made. He said that they use their own workers on site, so if they can't get on with building work while they wait for licences, they will employ them on the golf course and other work. He also said that the paperwork for the next stage was in the mayor's office ready to be signed, and the mayor is very pro the development. San Jose will definitely be able to complete the 3,093 houses for which they have already received permission, even if things take longer than we would like!
Kevin, please correct me if I have misinterpreted anything. No doubt you can add to this as you spoke to them for longer than us. It was good to meet you and Vera, and thanks again for the lift to the station.
Sue
