John,
Some points of interest in your first two photo's:-
Photo
1) The tower crane in the first was taken down shortly after you took that.
2) Did you notice the two old cars that were thickly covered in dust at the bottom left of this one?
They are a bit of an eye sore.
I've just posted another batch dated 21st July.
1 - Block 21 on the left.
2 - Sunrise from my balcony, admittedly touched up a litte with Picasa2 :-)
regards,
Paul

To be honest Paul I think that I took them about the 14th so the crane was there then. I did see it being removed.
Those cars have been there for months. I thought they were owned by the workmen but they have not moved. Need to get somebody to look at that!!!

Just to say a big thank you to all who have posted photos.
If anyone has any recent photos of the front of block 21 ( in particular escalara 83 near to block 18 and 20) I would be very grateful to see the progress. Do most blocks on the development face east , or is it south east (apart from the frontline golf apartments this is)?

Many thanks to All for the new photos.
From the pictures dated 20th, can anybody explain what seems to be a new path leading to the golf course from the road in front of Block 15 please?
Is this another entrance drive to Duquesa Village or just a path to the golf?

The gated entrance you can see is to the golf course. I saw the assistant pro from the golf club driving out of there in his buggy and he told me that the club had repaired the fence and entrace and it was part of the golf club.

Just wondering from the latest photos posted if a large dish has appeared on the roof of block 18, or do my eyes deceive me? Will these dishes be required on every block in phase 3 or just a few? Will they obstruct the views for some of the higher facing apartments or will they be placed in the most appropriate position to limit this? Could anyone comment on what has happened with earlier phase blocks?

Anne,
There's a large dish by the tennis courts which I assume services all of DV.
Not seen any dishes on any other buildings.
Block 18, surprisingly, already as a resident (ground floor at the top end) who seems to be permanent (complete with small yappy dog).
I'll check my photo library.

Thanks Paul......great photos of the village!
Here's some photos of what I think might be dishes on the rooftops - photo 2 -83118, photo 5 - 33876, photo 1 - 30334, photo 4 - 70872, photo 6 - 38962.
Most appear to be quite discrete, but not sure about the most recent one on block 18 (photo 2 - 83118) as it appears to tower above the block. Perhaps it's something else and I'm mistaken?

Anne, The block 18 dish may have to be positioned as such for reception (avoiding obstructions). I was just reading that a 2metre dish is the recommended size for Southern Spain even for a single TV , although some users are happy with smaller dishes. Funny I never noticed the dishes but I did notice Air-Con systems installed on some roofs which are visible from some vantage points.

Thanks very much for the recent photos.
Picture 6 on file 33876 (dated 1st Jan) shows the end Block, number 15, at the top by the Road. The design looks odd with a smaller building on the end. (Looks like a gap in the roof!). Does anybody know what this is, or is it unfinished ?
