I am in the process of buying a property in DV phase 2. We were shown around our apartment and it looks fine.
 
However as we left I went down to look at the garage and locker area in Escalera 27. I was quite surprised to see the staircase to this area had been used as a toilet. Not just liquids.
 
I think this needs cleaning up as soon as possible. Not only is it a health isuue, it will not look good if you show other buyers around.

I'm not sure but I don't think wealth tax is connected to capital gains, but I'll check with our lawyers. Re the situation about AEA and the community areas, I cannot understand how those who have not completed their purchase are directed to AEA regarding any communal issues!! This should still be the developers' responsibility, surely?!! We will certainly be raising this issue with our lawyers regarding the liability of the developer regarding the development - they cannot just pass on all liability to the management company when most of the development is still not complete?! Maybe this post should also be under the Residents' Association thread. Jan

Hi all, We are purchasing in Block 8. We were informed by our lawyers a few weeks ago that licences were in place and the developer was looking to complete. I have deliberately ignored the lawyer as we were hoping to to sell before completion. The lawyer has not come back to me since, so I assume the developer is not pressing yet!

Your comment about the state of Escalera 27 being used as a toilet has concerned me a little as we are in Block 8 and will doubtless being using the above.

Did you contact AEA and if so what was their reply?

I am over there on Thursday, so i will inspect myself but it would be good if they have comitted to cleaning this up first.
