Just returned from Spain (28th July-4th August). We went to Keymare customers services office which is situated on the main road as you approach Thalassa, we spoke to a lovely lady called Gema who arranged for us to have a pre completion visit on 3rd August. While we were there she did our snag list (which was very short not much to be done) the complex is looking very green, lots of shrubs, roses and trees, the pool in phase 2 is complete and filled with water (very inviting). We also met our solicitor and was told completion will be end of August - beginning September. Also the apartment was quite clean considering the workman were still in there, all the furniture is in the apartment (carefully wrapped in bubble wrap). We were very impressed with the progress and cannot wait until we complete.

We have just had our pre inspection (snagging) carried out on behalf by our agents. The main issue was chipped and damaged tiles to the stairs and flooring, can you imagine the dirt and dust and work involved in correcting stair and floor tiles.!!  Wardrobe broken and cooker hood dented, utility ceiling not finished and a different paint colour to one section of a wall!!   We are asking our solicitor to seek correction before completion.

So, have you snagged, but still have a pre inspection prior to completion? also could you say if all your light fittings are in place .

I don't think we will get another inspection visit prior to completion as we are hoping to complete soon.

We were on holiday for a week and just went into Keymare customers services in the hope they could arrange a visit while we there (we never received an invitation from them to visit).

All our fittings were in place down lighters were fitted in the lounge and other light fittings were in place ready for you to fit own lights. There was only a small snag list which was done by Keymare will have a good look around when we complete MRI are due to do our snag list that's if they bother.

I EMailed my solicitors to ask them to follow up on the snagging before completion, to be told by return that keymare say that we must complete on this block by the first or second week of September. Be nice if Key mare would keep in touch. We have had no contact since we signed with deposite back in Feb 06.
