We are block 26, duplex number 8 and we completed on 6th August. We stayed somewhere else that week but are coming back to Spain tomorrow to stay in our new home for 12 days. The agents, Ocean Estates are coming on the 29th to do the snagging list and I am hoping to get shower screens organised while I am there. I have bought sheets and some kitchen stuff in the Uk and I am taking it all with me and the rest we will buy while we are there. We did get some bits and pieces when we were there for completion and left them in the house. The first thing it needs is a good clean because it doesn't look as if it was cleaned at all for the handover. Not too many snags as far as I can see. The main one is that someone has dropped something heavy on the marble stairs and a chunk has chipped off. Also one of the bedroom doors is dragging when you open it and this has caused the veneer to split. There is a gouge in the front door under the spy hole and the blind on the door going out to the upstairs terrace was just rested on its fixings so as soon as we opened the door it fell off. We hadn't realised it was just resting there. It actually looks as if it is the wrong blind anyway because I can't see how the door will open once it is fixed in place. We also had a problem closing the shutter on the downstairs patio door but I am not sure if this is because there is a fault with it or we just didn't do it right! We didn't get chance to test the cooker, fridge etc so I don't know about them yet. The outside areas were nowhere near finished when we were there but a few days later when we visited again a lot more had been done so they do work quite quickly. I don't know if the outside paintwork is now our responsibly or if Key Mare will be repainting when everything else is finished but the white walls are very dirty and look like they need repainting already. I will ask about that when we put our snagging list in.
Overall we are very pleased and are looking forward to using our holiday home for many years to come.
