That is the third break in I have heard of, all during the day. All ground floor via a balcony.

Patio door and window locks work very well, if the shutters are left up, a theif can visually seem them and know the door or window can not be forced up. Personally I dont like bars as prefer to feel I'm on holiday than in jail!

I too have a gut feeling its some one who has worked in DV.

I think I will bring over a mini CCTV system when next over.

The barriers are always open during the day.

As an alternative to an alarm system, the following may be if interest to some of you.

Its a small camera which is activated by movement & transmits a video to you mobile phone. This is not a Commercial Post, but I will declare that I do know the Managing Director of the Company that developed the product in the UK. He has confirmed that it will work in Spain and already has a number of people using the camera there.
