hola !

I can recall someone saying that they had a shower cubilce fitted by DFS but i think it was quite expensive i think the sze of the cubilce is not standard has anyone had one fitted, what was the cost and where did they get it. if i can get a cubicle i will fit it myself when i am out at end of october so any ideas would be helpful.

thanks for that i did look in leroy merlin but was not sure of the exact size  what model did you get? as i intend to go back to leroy merlin and get one? will be out on 25/10/07

Jim&myself also bought cubicle from leroy;s.We are not diy enthusiasts but if we can do it anyone can.I might add we had a lot of fun doing it and a lot of choice words were flying around at the time,but I might add it looks good.

does nayone know of any bathroom suppliers where I can get a shower cubicle for the downstairs shower - 72.5cm to 73.5cm as Leroy Merlin always seem to be out of stock

You can get the shower cubicles at bricohouse, near the Mercadona at San Javier, for approx 170 euros.

I don't know about current stock levels but AKI (nearest branch is in Torrevieja at the Habaneras Shopping Centre) is advertising (until 26 January 2008) 80cm quadrant shower cubicle, white aluminium and 5mm safety glass for 99 euros.  It's in their current leaflet of 'oportunidades'.  Mampara de duchas "Holiday" (7200298)

the shower cubicles in brico house come in 70cm 75cm & 80 cm sizes my base for the cubicle needs a cubicle size of between 72cm - 73.5cm they are sold in Leroy Merlin and cost 190 euros  I had to order ours and pay a 40% deposit. i was told that there is a 45 day delivery time but was then told they will be in in two weeks time. So when you are over in february they should be in stock.

it may be that the shower bases on the complex are all different sizes i do not know.

the weather was good 17c and sunny  we did have two cloudy days but the batteries are fuly charged.

I went to collect my shower cubicle on 7th march from leroy merlin and was told it was discontinued. Our problem is the size of the base  73.5cm. i eventually went to the industrial estate heading to roldan (where inside right is) and found a company - ALUMINIOS ESQUIREL - they make aluminuim windows and also do shower cublices. They do not speak english so get you spanish dictionary out. Antonio came to our house the same day, measured and agreed to fit it within 3 weeks  - hlidays permitting. it costs 355 euros including fitting. an easy way to translate from english to spanish is by using google translation tools or if anyone wants I will post the questions i wrote down from the dictionary. hopefully when we next go out it will be sorted.
