The month of November

Why is everyone so negative. MikenMandy your glass must truly be half empty. There are two outcomes to this situation.It either happens or it doesn't.

Anyone who has committed themselves to this project must make their own decisions on what they feel they must do. The only factor that can determine the outcome of it happening or not happening is time.

The forum seems to have got very negative and depressed. I like to keep in touch with what people think and I take on board constructive comments but where are they at the moment. The reports are in, the Junta will make a decision and that decision will be relayed to everyone concerned. This is what I await and in time we will know the decision.

I wish my glass were half empty, instead of empty. If you read through all of my posts. You'll see that until very recently I have continued to say that I believe that at some point, whenever it is, ACC will be completed. I don't think that even in the recent posts I actually said that it wouldn't be built, just that my views were changing. I might be wrong on that point, I can't be bothered going back and re-reading all of them, I have bigger things to worry about.

Please explain, as I have just said to tboneted, why HUMA cannot and will not currently refund my money. What is the problem? I think I'm entitled to voice my opinion on the fact that, as things stand, someone has stolen my money. I have a pile of concrete blocks that should have been completed last year and no money. Why am I not entitled to be p/ssed off about it? What about the people who should have been moving out there? Fortunately I'm not one of those. Nor am I in dire financial straits because of the HUMA position, but I know that some people are. Are they allowed to be negative?

I appreciate there are people who have decided to stick with ACC, but I could have been earning money on that capital instead of losing it.

I would be overjoyed to be able to move on and leave you in peace.

I was on ACC in July 2006 looking at my pile of concrete beams and pillars. My Parador rep, who was there with me, told me that work would, not might, would be starting in Sept 2006.

Give me a positive since July 2006. You wonder why people are negative and depressed. I have the fluoxetine to prove it.

When I started this answer there had been 80 views to my message posted at around 17.55, nobody else has slagged me off. Why is that?

& if it doesn't happen? What will you do then? Sit back and say C'est la vie? or have you only paid your initial deposit?

No MikenMandy I have paid 51,000 euros in total to reserve a Tarifa in May 2005. I went to view the site with MacAnthony Realty who now trade as MRI overseas. I obtained a Bank Guarantee with the purchase and over the last 2 and a half years I have been following the story.

Maybe it is my outlook on life, maybe it is the way I look at things but I have only been bothered with the facts of what has happened and why what happened occured. I can understand why things happened the way they did. I do agree that any person who wants a return of their money as part of their decision should have it returned promptly and this does not seem to be the case.( I'm sorry but from a previous view i was led to believe you had no purchase on ACC and trying to rub salt in the wounds of people who did).

I am just a pragmatic person who will await the decision and if it goes positively will be delighted and if not I will be in the same boat as everyone else trying to get their money back. I realise that in the future if this is the case there will be enough stress at that point in time. I will not allow that stress to occur until a firm decision has been made. Life is too short to shorten it even further by allowing negative emotions to rule life from month to month.

Some positive negative news today is that there is another meeting on Monday between HUMA & Andersons.

I wish everyone well on ACC, though some may not believe that.

I do not want to see anyone lose out.

If anyone has flown BMI recently they will have seen an article in their inflight magazine re Mediteranean business practices, compared with the UK. This may explain some of the things that have gone on with HUMA, Parador & the other agents.
