El Gnomo Feliz 2 - Vera Playazo - near the newish Mercadona

The news I got today was good "The builders are coming this week" I have a letter from Antonio expalining everything (which I will post later as I have just arrived home). I also travelled down to the very bottom of the site and took photographs and the ground works are completed there. This is a long way down and I was surprised at how far we went. The road you see on the web cam is going to be widened and this process has started. I have a photograph showing how deep the excavation was from the hills to the left of the road and the road and it is about 10ft deep.

The new access road is in use albeit is still a dirt track but I have photos of the trucks using it. I can tell you that there were so many trucks and contruction vehicles operating that it was a regular traffic jam. Horns were blowing  and everythging.

The area to the left  and before you arrive at of the grupo trampolin building has been started interms of ground works and i have photos of this as well.

They have told me that the fase 1 will be complete by nov/dec 2008 and that the golf course will be open then as well. Although at the beginning it may only be 3/4 holes.

I dont know for sure but I would imagine that as the villas or Apartments are ready they will hand them over so I suppose some folks maybe in before this. I was told that there are going to be 11 apartment buildings ready in fase 1 but was not advised of any order of construction.

I am going to bed now as it is 01.00hrs  and I only landed at 11.30 hrs

Thanks for the prompt posting, encoureging news I can go to work this am with a lifted heart and when the sceptics that i work with ask me how it is all going I can say very well thankyou.

I also received an email yesterday from our solicitor saying he is having a copy of our bankers gaurentee forwarded to us.

cant wait to see your photos.  Did you ask why the webcam had stopped working?

Wow great news !!!!!! cant wait to go over and see this,in just over a weeks time, I am really missing the web cam and like Diane would like to know if you asked about the web cam, anyway if not I'll ask about it when I go,I'm now looking forward to threads about pool sizes and prices hopefully not too far away.

I have uploaded photos now  so you can see some serious activity in the groundworks preparations. I did ask  about the web cam and guess what they told me? It is broken!!!         I know that  I said !!!!!   when are you going to fix it I said ? I dont know she said.  ach never mind that I said just tell when  to bring my furniture !!! I will sleep in a tent justy keep me away from the rain and snow in scotland I  said !!!!!!

The photo with the two handsome guys in it was taken in JULY 07 SO YOU CAN COMPARE THE SAME VIEW

if all I was told is correct and I have no reason to doubt it then you should be the first to have pictures of the builders on the site.

Hi all, ever wondered why some of us have names like parcela and atico under our user name ,well for those of you who dont know E O S give you that name when you make a certain ammount of posts the first milestone is the name studio which you get when you make 30 posts ,so what you waiting for lets see some more studios and that will mean more posts to read, you can write any old rubbish like I do,so get the only finger you can type with, and start posting, thats an order !!!!!!

Hi all you fellow buyers at Trampolin Hills

We have been viewing all your comments with great interest for the last couple of months but this is our first attempt at posting our interest. We have bought a Granada apt on phase 1 and have so far waited nearly two years for some definite progress so this latest bit of news is very encouraging. We look forward eagerly to the day when an actual brick or some concrete is laid even though in our visits there we can see that an awful lot of work has been done on the earth clearance and so on.

We live in Spain already but we both hope that they are right with their completion forecast and that we will be celebrating next Christmas in our new home

P.S.  When the web cam was working I was almost as sad as Dave cos I also used to check when they knocked off for lunch and went back to work afterwards. Maybe thats why they switched it off.
