Phase 1 : Release of remaining blocks

I was interested to read your comment that

for those of you that have not licence in Phase I and your contract expired more than 8 months ago. You could ask Prienesur to swap your property for another one with licence

Do you have a contact details for someone in Prienesur who I could discuss this with?

I have the contact details at home but it was Querens office in Cordoba and the person Mª Luz. My contract expired 31st October 2006 but there was a clause for an extra 8 months more to sign Deeds for both parties. After that date 30th June 2007  "Prienesur" is the party that has breached the contract so I asked them for solutions.  1) Cancelling purchase and returning funds but it could take up to 6 months. 2) To swap my property for another one in the same urbanisation with license. The sales office in Manilva has the details of the properties available if we want to swap.

Hi Sun123, out of interest, can you remember how many apartments were available for you to swop with in the released blocks of phase 1?

They offered me one but I was not interested. I have not asked fthem for another one in another block so I do not know their availability, sorry. I pressume that since a lot of owners have cancelled, there are plenty of options. They swap for another one with the same size more or less.

I located a spainish web site where there is a forum being used by some Spainish buyers.I am pasting a translation of a post that appeared in mid April which sheds some light on the road saga.The latest post says completion in September for the remainder of Phase 1.

I was yesterday at the site in Manilva. At the road worked 2 units of vehicle. 3 days before at the entry blocks company from autamento make sistem of entry. They don´t speak english (I am a little too) but they agree that with phase 1 "All will be OK".

Just a quick update .
Have just returned from  a hetic but fantastic week in our apartment  BLK 5 , there is a lot of work now going on on all phases except the ones on the left hand side of the new road by the golf course.
Will post more and photos later.

As Vlad as stated the road seems to be coming on  while we where there they delivered 4 large electric sub stations which they have placed on the left hand side of the road going up the hill ,Most of the dranage system is in and the plastic trunking for cables also, they are about half way up with the hard core and where even working on the top part by Cota Real, it seems they are at last  trying to finish it by July and then that should release all of the remaining blocks on Phase 1 ,

Regarding Phases 2.4.5. they have started working on them we were quite supprised to see all 4 cranes on phases 4.5 all working at the same time through out the week,
also they have put 4 or 5 portacabins by those phase which I can only asume that there will be even more labour on site so hopefully this will now speed things up and the buyers in those phase will not have to wait as long as we thought ( even though they have waited long enough) at least things are on the move again.

We called at the sales office to enquire about the elusive T/V and what did we see no T.V but the office being pulled down, when we asked Deigo ( he is the Maintence Manager for Phase one ) he said that the sales office for the time being was in the show house next door.
We then went there to enquire and spoke to a guy Jorge (who can speak some English and he was very helpfull ) with regard to the office it is being to moved up on to the site to generate more sales which must be a good  sign, but alas no sign of the T/V (Sol)  is still chasing that one, (has anyone had one yet?)

While we where there we noticed about four more apartments being moved into , but I think there may more than that as every day you would see fresh packging out by the rubish bins, as for Phase 1 there are getting things in to place there some maintence guys there and on the Friday morning we could here all this chattering outside our door , I went to see what was happening and when I opened the door there where 2 cleaners doing the stairs .

It now seems that it is all coming together and although it has been  a long wait  it has been worth it in the end, as the apartment  is just what we wanted.

Hope this did not bore you all but the more we put on the forum the better informed we are, more so those still waiting to complete .

Thank you for the update, you are quite right people like us still waiting to complete feel so much better after reading a letter like yours.
Robbie did they have large machinery working on the road?
