Buying a car in spain

Just in case others do not know I emailed Luis yesterday regarding the above and have just received an email confirming the first community meeting is on Saturday 8 March at the Mexico Hotel at 11.30am.  Apparently a letter is to be sent on Monday wth further details.

I have sent out an email tonight with the response from Luis re the questions sent to him about 4 weeks ago.

In that message, he says that the letter will be issued on Monday & that they will be giving 20 days notice when by law they only need to give 6 days notice - if you do the maths, that works out to be the 8th March, which is also the date that he told me on the phone last week.

I didn't publicise the date because he hadn't sorted out the venue & it could have changed again!

sorry to ask, but with all you have sorted out so far you seem to have you finger on the pulse, will we get to see the agenda,will we be able to appoint a proxy.

I understand that you might not have the answers, but you seem to have more luck getting a response than most.

I think the letter being sent out on Monday should have the agenda.

The letter will also enclose a form for the proxy vote - I am just not sure of the actual mechanics of how the proxy is given.

For Example:

If you want to give me your proxy, do you send a signed form to me or does it go to seasun?

Do you indicate on a form how you want to vote on individual issues? - difficult as until the meeting happens, in some instances, you don't  actually know what you will be voting on.

So, until I see the letter, meet with Luis on Monday or get involved in debate through EOS or the email list, I am not 100% sure.

I'm going with Noreen to see Luis on Monday so hopefully all will become clearer.

I believe it's straight forward to give your vote to Noreen and the letter will make things clearer.

I managed to get a flight from Stansted to Almeria for £89 in case anyone is considering attending the meeting. That's going over on the 7th and coming back on the 9th.
